Hearts Willing to Reach the Unreached

Author: Mahendra

My name is Mahendra, and I come from a humble village in South Asia. I am a servant of the Lord and, with deep gratitude, I affirm that by the grace of Jesus, my whole family and I have been serving Him since 2010.

We were not always involved in ministry. However, when God opened our eyes to the spiritual darkness around us – countless lives without hope, without truth, without Christ – we knew we could not remain silent.

So, we declared: “Here we are, Lord. Send us.” And He did.

Today, by His strength, we are reaching the lost in our region. Through our small but growing ministry, many have heard the Good News for the first time. We are planting churches, discipling believers, and training leaders who will carry the light even farther.

Wherever the Lord leads us, whether to remote villages or forgotten corners of our district, we will go because there are still souls waiting to hear that Jesus loves them.

In the area where we live, we have started a local church, and through it, God has opened doors for us to work with children, teenagers, and women. We hold regular gatherings, outreach events, and teachings. My wife, a teacher by profession, stands faithfully with me in this calling. Together, we long to see every child and family in our region transformed by Jesus.

But our burden is growing…
We dream of a day when every child – from the poorest to the most neglected – will have access to education, love, and spiritual guidance. That is why we have also started a small school ministry, through which six families have already come to faith in Christ!

Yet, many more children – especially those from persecuted Christian families and from extremely poor backgrounds – are still out of school, are not being discipled, and have no safe place to grow.

That’s why God has placed a vision in my heart: to open a hostel, a boarding home, for such children. A place where they can not only study but be raised as disciples of Jesus – children who will shine for Him and transform their communities.

We have taken small steps, but we need your prayers and support.

Please pray that we may plant more churches in spiritually dry places, that the Gospel may reach every child and family through our school, and that the Lord will send partners to walk with us – both spiritually and financially.

The harvest is ready, but the laborers are few. We are willing to go, to serve, and to suffer so that the light of Jesus may shine in every dark corner of India.

Will you stand with us?
Thank you for reading my testimony, it carries what God planted in my heart.
Thank you for praying. May God bless you richly as you also serve His Kingdom.

Caring for Those Who Care – Part 2

Excessive workload, anxiety, depression, and even suicide may seem like distant issues for those called by God to lead the church. Yet ignoring these realities only increases the burden on pastors, leaders, and missionaries. This article raises awareness during Yellow September, reflecting on the sacred command of rest – so often neglected – and how the lack of understanding about it has led many leaders to drift away from God’s plans.

When a Simple Piece of Paper Touches the Soul

Sometimes, a single piece of paper with God’s Word is enough to transform lives. A pamphlet about forgiveness led a young woman to open her heart, confront and overcome the wounds of her past, and finally find Jesus as her Savior. This story reminds us that every intentional act of sowing the Word, no matter how small, can cause great change.
