An Amazing Calling

Author: Harendra

My name is Rohan Kumar. Not long ago, my life was in complete darkness. I was addicted to alcohol and physically abused my wife. I would become uncontrollably angry, hit her without reason, and run away from home at night, lost in my addiction.
Our home was filled with fear and pain – there was no peace, no love.

But everything began to change when my wife insisted that I attend a prayer meeting with her. Reluctantly, I agreed. And that night, something deeply touched me. For the first time, I felt as if someone was calling me from within.

I heard them preach about the love and forgiveness of Jesus Christ, and it touched my heart. At that moment, I repented of my sins and asked God for a new life. Since that day, my life has been completely transformed: I no longer lay eyes on alcohol, and now I love and respect my wife.

We pray together every day, and our home is now filled with peace and the presence of God.

I can state with all my heart that this change was not by my own will or strength. It only could happen by the grace of the Lord Jesus.

Today, I want to tell everyone: no matter how deep someone has fallen, if they cry out to God with a sincere heart, He can lift them up and give a new life.

Thank You, Lord Jesus!
