There was a time when following Jesus came at a high price for me—not from strangers, but from within my own home.
As I grew in my faith and commitment to Christ, attending church and walking with the Lord, my wife began to strongly oppose me. Her resistance was painful; it brought arguments, distance, and deep sadness. It felt as if my spiritual journey was tearing apart the very home I longed to see united in Christ.
However, even in the middle of that storm, I chose not to give up. I kept feeding my soul with God’s promises. Every sermon gave me strength, and every verse renewed my hope. I kept walking in faith, even when my steps felt heavy.
Then, one day, I received a call that no husband ever wants to get: the police station informed me that my wife had gone missing. Fear took hold of my heart. Panic filled my mind. But instead of falling apart, I hit my knees. I cried out to Jesus. And once again, God showed up. Even the police officers were moved. One of them told me, “You are a good man and a true leader; that is why we rushed to help.”
By His grace, the police found my wife and brought her home safely. But that wasn’t the real miracle—the miracle was what happened next.
The heart that once rejected the church now goes with me. The voice that once argued now listens quietly to the Word of God. My wife is walking this journey of faith by my side, step by step.
I give all the glory to Jesus. He didn’t just protect me from trouble; He restored peace to my home. The Lord, who hears our cries, answered me with love and power!
This isn’t just my testimony. This is God’s story—a story of grace, perseverance, and the power of prayer.
So, if you are praying for a loved one, don’t stop. If you are walking alone, don’t get discouraged. God sees your faith, and in His perfect timing, He will turn your mourning into joy!
All glory to God!
