We have witnessed – day after day, from village to village – the grace of God being revealed in powerful ways. One family who accepted Christ lives within a restricted military residential area, where strict rules limit access. Despite these challenges, God made a way for the Gospel to reach them. We are grateful that they opened their hearts and began the journey of faith.
In another village, we met a family that had been facing long-standing spiritual opposition and unrest. Through prayer and the sharing of the Gospel, God brought peace and transformation. The family accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, and a few weeks ago they were baptized.
Elsewhere, in a nearby region, the work has been even more difficult. At first, the people were hesitant and doubtful, keeping their distance. But by God’s grace, they are beginning to listen more attentively, and we can see small signs of hearts becoming receptive. The seed of faith has been planted, but we know it will take time to grow. During times of prayer, God’s presence and peace have been evident, allowing people to open up about their personal struggles and be filled with hope and encouragement.
In some of the villages we have visited, people still carry doubt and unbelief. In all of them, there is not a single church nor a known christian, which increases social and cultural pressure and makes sharing the Gospel more complex. At times, we feel physically and emotionally exhausted, and the challenge of keeping our team spiritually strong is constant.
Yet even with so many obstacles, God continues to show His faithfulness and open new paths. That is why we need your support in prayer: for hearts in the remote villages to open to the Gospel; for the work to grow stronger and become established; for wisdom, strength, and patience, since the field is very difficult; for new believers to emerge and grow in discipleship; and for the personal growth of our entire team in humility, faith, and obedience.
We also ask your prayers for specific areas, where people speak dialects closely connected to Tibetan culture, in indigenous communities of the Himalayan region.
We clearly sense from the Lord that although the Gospel has been shared there before, there is still no church. We are praying for wisdom and for the Lord to open new doors. We hope to start English classes in one of these villages, which would help us minister in a safer and more effective way.
May we serve together! Though the risks are as high as the mountains, we continue to trust that God will guide every step.
Your prayers and support mean so much to us, for we know that “those who sow in tears will reap with joy.” (Psalm 126:5)
