Excessive workload, anxiety, depression, and even suicide may seem like distant issues for those called by God to lead the church. Yet ignoring these realities only increases the burden on pastors, leaders, and missionaries. This article raises awareness during Yellow September, reflecting on the sacred command of rest – so often neglected – and how the lack of understanding about it has led many leaders to drift away from God’s plans.

Sometimes, a single piece of paper with God’s Word is enough to transform lives. A pamphlet about forgiveness led a young woman to open her heart, confront and overcome the wounds of her past, and finally find Jesus as her Savior. This story reminds us that every intentional act of sowing the Word, no matter how small, can cause great change.
